Senior Information Security Officer

Job description / Role

Client is a leading bank based in Qatar is seeking a Senior Information Security Officer to support the Head of Information Security in all IS initiatives within the bank.

The Senior Information Security Officer will act as the Subject Matter Expert for Information Security Concerns, ensuring the bank is compliant against internal policies and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing risk assessments and security operations. The role is a blend of Governance, Risk, Compliance and Security Operations.

The bank is open to receiving profiles from outside the Middle East and will provide a competitive salary package with benefits to the successful candidate.

Requirements

* The ideal candidate for the role will have the following:
* Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience within Information Security, atleast 3 years in Banking
* Excellent communications skills
