Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is seeking an Information Management professional to join the team based in Doha, Qatar. This role is to support senior Information Management staff in delivering collaboration and business intelligence services.

The applicant will primarily assist in the design and build SharePoint sites and the development of dashboards and reports. The core platform for project information management is SharePoint (currently MOSS 2007 soon to migrate to 2013) with Nintex workflow and SSRS reporting platform. This is a business role with key interfaces to KBR corporate IT/IS services.

This is not a developer / coding role.

The applicant must be able to work within the company’s governance framework to deliver solutions using standard functionality where possible.

Responsibilities:
- Identifying processes where value could be added, gathering business requirements, analyzing business processes and, where practical, identifying technically driven solutions.
- Designing and building SharePoint solutions using standard 2007 / 2013 functionality. This is not a development environment and .NET skills are not necessary.
- Development and support of Nintex workflows
- Development of data packages, databases and SQL reports for deployment using SharePoint.
- First line support to internal and external users

Requirements

- B.Sc in an engineering / technical subject
- Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in a business facing role
- Fluent English both written and spoken
- Large scale Microsoft SharePoint deployments (MOSS 2007 & SharePoint 2013), including SharePoint designer and Nintex Workflow
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (2005 / 2012)
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, especially in Access and Excel
- Experience of working with a variety of Project Collaboration portals and Electronic Document Management Systems (Bentley ProjectWise would be desirable)
- Competency in document management principles would be desirable
- Business knowledge/experience with Road, rail or Infrastructure projects

- Ability to with support analyse a problem and identify potential solutions
- Keen eye for detail with a view to keeping errors to a minimum
- Ability to work methodically through a potentially lengthy task
