Responsibilities

Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment.

Installation layouts (instrument location layouts, air distribution, main cable routing, secondary cable tray).

Building layouts (control room equipment layout, earthing layout, telecom layout).

Instrument standard installation/hookups and cable block diagram.

Loop drawing, wiring diagram in 2D as well as in SPI (SPI is not mandatory; however preferred).

Ensures effective communications and coordination among members of the discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team.

Performs layouts, design, and checking work from the basic data supplied.

Establishes project drafting standards and monitors their conformance.

Ensures quality in design, and technical accuracy in the preparation of drawings, material quantities, etc., including reviewing others' work at more senior levels.

Skills/Qualifications

Diploma in a relevant discipline (Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electrical/Electronics).

Good command over AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Minimum 10 years experience with a minimum of 5 years in EPC jobs.

Minimum of 5 years proven capability in an engineering design company.

Experience with FEED, detailed design and EPC projects.

Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas.

Communication skills (excellent command of both spoken and written English).
