We are looking for a senior instrumentation engineer to join a leading engineering team delivering large-scale oil and gas projects. This role involves full project lifecycle responsibilities, from early concept design to commissioning, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical design and engineering services in instrumentation engineering across assigned projects.

Conduct engineering activities and site surveys from concept stage through studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.

Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, codes, safety, and environmental requirements.

Review and manage technical deviations and variations against approved standards and guidelines.

Plan and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering services on time and within budget.

Coordinate and review design workscopes to ensure clarity and completeness.

Review and approve method statements prepared by contractors; resolve technical issues as required.

Support scheduling of in-house engineering activities and contribute to external FEED/EPIC project schedules.

Participate in evaluation of technical bid packages for compliance.

Assess and advise on contract changes and variations.

Support the development of technical competencies within the team; mentor and provide structured training to junior engineers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in instrumentation & electrical engineering, electrical & electronics engineering, or a related discipline.

Chartered engineer/professional engineer status preferred.

Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience, including at least 6 years in the oil and gas industry.

Strong understanding of instrumentation engineering standards, codes, and practices.

Proven track record of delivering engineering projects on time, within cost and quality requirements.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in English.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
