Senior Interface Engineer (External)

Job description / Role

Linum Consult’s client is a major international company currently seeking an External Senior Interface Engineer with a background in energy & heavy industry works to be based in their Doha office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing and coordinating all external interfaces between the project and third-party stakeholders, the EPCC contractor, and authorities, under the guidance of the Interface Manager
• Ensuring that project requirements, schedules, and contractual obligations are fully integrated and that external dependencies are effectively monitored and resolved to prevent delays or conflicts
• Acting as the primary point of contact for external interface matters, facilitating communication, resolving any interface issues, and ensuring alignment between project teams and external stakeholders
• Being accountable for monitoring interface performance, identifying potential risks or bottlenecks, and proposing proactive solutions to safeguard project objectives
• Promoting & adhering to the company’s health & safety, environmental, energy, and quality management systems and standards

PROFILE

• Degree qualification in an Engineering subject and a relevant Professional Certification
• At least 10 years’ experience in external interface engineering, with at least 3-5 years in major projects, ideally within the heavy industry sector
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Due to visa restrictions, our client can only consider candidates who are Western nationals
