Senior Interface Engineer (Internal)

Job description / Role

Linum Consult’s client is a major international company currently seeking an Internal Senior Interface Engineer with a background in energy & heavy industry works to be based in their Doha office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing, coordinating, and ensuring effective integration across multiple disciplines and project interfaces within the major projects division, under the guidance of the Interface Manager
• Ensuring that engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities are properly aligned, and that all internal and cross-functional interfaces are effectively managed to avoid delays, conflicts, or rework
• Supervising and guiding interface activities, liaising closely with engineering, procurement, project controls, quality, and construction teams, and acting as the focal point for resolving interface-related issues
• Being accountable for monitoring interface performance, identifying potential risks or bottlenecks, and proposing proactive solutions to safeguard project objectives
• Promoting & adhering to the company’s health & safety, environmental, energy, and quality management systems and standards

PROFILE

• Degree qualification in an Engineering subject and a relevant Professional Certification
• At least 10 years’ experience in internal interface engineering, with at least 3-5 years in major projects, ideally within the heavy industry sector
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of departments
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Due to visa restrictions, our client can only consider candidates who are Western nationals
