Job description / Role
As the Senior Maintenance Manager for the Passenger terminal Complex at Hamad International Airport, you will be responsible for providing the leadership, guidance, support and direction for the engineering maintenance delivery across the 5 star engineering platform that is Hamad International Airport.
In the role of SMM you will also have ownership of one of companies foundation toolsets that is the Hard Service Platform.
The role of Senior Maintenance Manager is to ensure the proper operation of a high demanding world class Facility that operates 24/7 hours and 365 days. The Facility is a people moving platform that processes almost 30million passengers per annum, delivers over 25000PMs and 7700 CMs per month.
In the role you will have also have the responsibility of managing a KPI driven business where the focus is on asset uptime performance.
You will ensure that all works are carried out safely and in a timely manner in accordance with SLA agreements and KPI´s.
• SLA and KPI agreed with client.
• HSE inspections conducted by the team.
• Quality inspections conducted by the team.
• FMM financial target
• Engineering outputs to ensure that they comply with international, local and airport regulations.
• Take the overall responsibility for delivering a suite of KPIs that include operational uptime and compliance.
• Leading a technical engineering team inclusive of supply chain
• Continual liaison with customers and their stakeholders in a manner that puts the customer as centric in delivering a 1st in class engineering service.
• Being responsible for forecasting/budgeting, revenue and expenditure analysis and achievement of financial results.
• Being responsible for developing people and training to maximize operational equipment uptime, the introduction of new technologies and apply industry best practice in maintenance regimes.
• Have an ability to lead technical root cause investigations and elaborate comprehensive technical reports.
Requirements
• A degree (or equivalent) mechanical or electrical qualification
• At least 7-10 years experience working in a world class airport, in an engineering position
• Strong leadership skills
• Candidates who have worked in busy European airports are desired, but it’s not a prerequisite
