About the Business Unit:

The Device & Logistics team is responsible for defining, developing, implementing and maintaining Ooredoo's CPE sourced for sale, applications and premium content services. The team works in collaboration with Product Development, Operations & Commercial team to drive the Inventory System and manages the availability of stocks of products as well as CPEs in line with Ooredoo's business plans for consumers without compromising on the defined quality standards.

The team is also required to work in close coordination with the central warehouse team to maintain the optimum stock position and ensure minimizing of obsolesce stock, such that the right cash conversion cycle and respective ratios are achieved.

About the Role:

This role is responsible to ensure that Ooredoo is seen as a technology and innovation leader by ensuring that its customers have access to the very latest handsets and consumer devices / accessories through the profitable sourcing, development and maintenance of stocks CPE and third party suppliers and services. The role holder also owns the relationship between Ooredoo and suppliers of products and services with the aim of ensuring that Ooredoo is best positioned to offer best in class products.

Requirements

About You:

You should have at least 10 years' experience in the telecommunications industry for either an operator, handset distributor or handset manufacturer (experience within an operator preferred). You should have experience in managing cross-functional teams and suppliers and a track record in bringing products to market. You must also have an experience of building relationship with application developers.

Skills Required:

- Strong commercial and technical background
- Strong understanding of handset models, technologies and mobile industry trends
- Strong technical understanding

Minimum Qualifications:

You should have a Bachelors degree in Marketing or similar.
