Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a renowned corporate identity in Qatar who is looking to hire a highly motivated and specialised Senior Manager – Indirect Tax. This exciting role is predominantly client-facing and involves providing a wide range of VAT consulting services to both new and existing clients.
You will grow and service a portfolio of private and public clients as well as identify and develop new business opportunities. In addition, you will provide VAT advice and practical assistance on a variety of VAT issues such as identifying and mitigating VAT risk / formulating strategies, business change, detecting legislative changes and participating in specific projects in respect of VAT implementation matters.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a proactive and driven individual with at least 8 years’ experience in the same role plus solid experience from a leading VAT consultancy with EU Jurisdiction experience. You should also have experience in inter-country transactions and harmonization of VAT rules as well as experience growing and developing a client base and bringing on new clients. In addition, you should have excellent communication, organisational, negotiating and interpersonal skills.
