Description
* To assess current practices for compliance with the company information systems requirements
* Translate technical and business requirements into detailed solution designs and proposals
* Ensure that delivery of agreed designs meets the defined customer requirements
* Review and analyse the current technology infrastructure and its ability to support strategic objectives of company and its customers
* Create, document, and implement procedures related to solution builds, device configurations and deployments
* Develop solutions and deliverables with High and low level designs
* Self-start up and team player
* Self-motivated to take ownership of projects with limited supervision
* Promote the strategic use of information systems
* Strong ability to create Statements of work (SOW) to support solution design delivery
* Designs and builds prototypes and working models of complex and/or new elements of an information system then directs the team to the development and execution
* Responsible for the capacity management process
* Responsible for accurate reporting to vendors on a monthly basis against contractual agreements

Requirements
* University Degree in IT or related field
* Experience architecting and building solutions leveraging cloud computing service providers
* Strong Architectural experience in the following disciplines;
* Red Hat Linux, Enterprise Storage Arrays, Fibre Channel, FCoE, iSCSI
* Understand and explain Microsoft SPLA, VMware VSPP and Symantec XPLA
* Broad knowledge of the entire Microsoft product suite
* Understanding of Cisco architectures in the Enterprise and Service Provider Space
* Experience with VMware virtualization technologies and Architecture
* Working knowledge of relational databases
* Experience and Knowledge EMC Technologies including Clariion and Recover Point
* Knowledge of HP Hardware, Blade Systems, Storage, Openview and Virtual Connect
* Understanding of TOGAF Enterprise Architecture
* ITIL v3 foundation or Equivalent knowledge in service management
