An International EPC Contractor requires a Senior Manager for Operations & Maintenance to join them on a permanent residential basis in Qatar.
The main purpose of this position is to enhance the company’s share and image by maintaining a strong presence in the market of plant services and demonstrate leadership in setting business direction with a view to prepare short term and long term business strategies for plant services. The efficiency of this position is critical for running the plant services business and contributing and exploring and expanding business. Has an important role in estimation, planning and scheduling of projects at the most optimum cost and in accordance with the internationally acceptable QHSE standards.
Responsible for the efficient, safe and cost effective management of shutdown and turnaround maintenance contracts with O&G, petrochemical, fertilizer and related plant facilities in Qatar.
This position will be responsible for Strategic Planning, Project Charter, Execution Strategy/Philosophy, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment, Managing People, Taking the Ownership of Company QHSE Policy, Cost and Resource optimization, Client Satisfaction, Policies & Procedures.
Works under general direction of the Head BU. Works as per rules, procedure and policies of DEL. Decisions with respect to business plan and business development are taken by this position in agreement with Head BU. as authority to approve transport requests, stationary requests, leaves, etc of reporting staff.
Salary:
USD
12,500 to 13,500
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
Suitable candidates will have an engineering qualification with more than 20 years of relevant experience. You must have managed a minimum of 5 shutdowns or annual turnarounds in your career. Regional experience would be an advantage.
