Job description / Role
• Review and check design drawing and Contracted document.
• Check and Approve composite drawings.
• Review Contractor’s qualification.
• Assist and Comments to tender evaluation report.
• Review and Approve of concept elaboration and evaluation.
• Review and comments of site reports.
• Respond to Contractor’s queries.
• Review and Approve shop & as built drawings.
• Respond to project manager memo and clarification.
• Energy consideration Analysis.
• Attend coordination meeting.
• Prepare and issue monthly report.
• Prepare and issue value Engineering report.
• Prepare and issue project risk management report.
• Prepare and issue health and safety report.
• Monitor and analyze project schedule in his field.
• Monitor and analyze resources in his field.
• Assist and approve the test results.
• Assist and approve testing & commissioning.
• Assist project manager to issuing certificates.
Requirements
• Technically supports junior staff to resolve issues related to the expertise.
• Assists the HOD in coaching other engineers to develop design skills.
• Ensures compliance with internal rules and regulations. Implements action plans of the department aligned with the objectives set in the strategy.
• Recommends improvement in the Quality Management System or draft new procedures when needed subject to own HOD approval.
• Assists departmental quality representative in preparing the departmental procedures and forms.
• Attends own department's meetings for effective meetings.
