Overview:

We are seeking a senior pipeline engineer to join a leading international energy project in Qatar. The role involves delivering piping and pipeline engineering expertise, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting project execution across all phases. This is a technically demanding position that requires strong engineering knowledge, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to provide guidance on complex engineering issues.

Responsibilities:

Deliver piping and pipeline design activities in line with regulatory requirements, project specifications, and approved changes.

Provide engineering solutions to technical issues and escalate where necessary.

Develop, update, and amend engineering policies and procedures in consultation with senior team members.

Support engineering teams, contractors, and third parties to ensure project objectives are met.

Evaluate complex tasks and recommend appropriate actions to management.

Ensure project philosophies, procedures, and standards are applied to specifications, design, and procurement of piping items.

Prepare plans and work schedules that ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Monitor FEED and EPC contractors, as well as third-party services, ensuring compliance with scope, standards, and budget.

Support other engineers in carrying out complex analyses and assignments, providing expertise as needed.

Ensure all work adheres to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Requirements:

Bacheloru2019s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 6 years of experience in piping and pipeline engineering within the oil and gas industry.

At least 4 years in a project management team role.

Strong understanding of international engineering standards and practices.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Competent in the use of relevant engineering software tools and systems.

Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary environments and provide leadership in technical problem-solving.
