Job description / Role
Kentz, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for Senior Piping Material Engineers to work in Qatar.
Responsibilities:
- Works independently on assignments requiring the application of mature engineering knowledge in planning and execution. Performs all Piping discipline engineering functions but assignments may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
Requirements
- BS Eng or equivalent engineering degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum 14-18 years relevant experience in a professional technical capacity involving specification, design, planning, checking in an engineering consultancy or EPC Company within the oil and gas industry.
- Good computer knowledge Ceasar II, PDS, PDMS, Smart Plant 3D, Navis Works, Excel and Word
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of upstream and downstream oil & gas and/or petrochemical units and operating principles.
- Site construction and commissioning experience is essential.
- Must have ability to develop plot plans and design of all piping including critical lines.
