Senior Planner

Job description / Role

Cash rich with a core history within Doha for delivering project within budget and program. The Planing Director is looking to bring some real talent into the business to sit on a huge 3.1 Billion QAR project.

As a Planner can you decipher between the program and reality on site? We have an International Contracting Business that is looking to recruit 3 Senior Level Planning Engineers. They are wanting to speak to Senior Planners that have good strong hands on experience based out on site. They are looking for Planners that can communicate , program , asses and manage. They have a large scale Civil Engineering & Building Project that has 36 Months to run and there are in excess of 250 Sub Contractors on site presently.

They are keen to speak with Senior Planners that have the following experience: Hospitals, Airports, Complex Rail. Basically they want individuals that can stand on their own 2 feet and manage multiple tasks at anyone time . Coordinating closely with a MEP Manager & Senior Construction Manager you will be able to present and handle presentations to both a client and your supply chain. Primavera Software experience is essential but they are not looking to recruit someone that is stuck behind desk. Ideally they want to recruit Civil Engineering background candidates that have worked there way up from site into Planning & Technical.

Requirements

Following is KEY :
- Prepare detailed MEP schedule, resources & other various aspect of work as required by Project Management Team.
- Monitor actual progress of works against plan and provide comparative data analysis output. Generate weekly & monthly progress report to the Client. Prepare project monthly dashboard for Head office report.

Our client is seeking candidates currently based in Qatar with an NOC in hand or based locally in the GCC with the ability to attend interviews during the month of October 2016.

- 2 Years GCC experience for a Contractor is ESSENTIAL. Our client will not shortlist people that have worked for Developers or Consultants. You will need to have experience of managing direct forecasts of direct labour & outputs.
- 7 Years Minimum Post Graduate Experience
- You must be able to communicate clearly and concisely
