Job description / Role
Reputed Contractor is looking for a Senior Planning Engineer for their operations based in Qatar. Attractive package and long term opportunity on offer.
Responsibilities:
Implement schedule and monitor actual daily progress during the execution phase by logging/tracking project information. Measure project progress by updating Master and Internal Programs weekly, compare actual performance against target and take corrective actions when necessary. Prepare weekly look-ahead schedule and weekly/monthly progress report to be discussed with the Project Manager.Prepare detailed weekly and monthly Progress Report, highlighting areas of concern and corrective actions to be forwarded and discussed with the Management. Prepare report on alarming activities; discuss with the Project Manager; advise project staff on the progress, areas of concerns, highlight activities to be started (critical or non-critical), uncompleted activities, delays and corrective measures; and update the status weekly.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering or any related discipline
7-10 years experience working with Contractors in the Gulf.
Hotel projects preferred but not essential.
Based in the Qatar
Available to join immediately preferred.
