We are now seeking an exceptional Senior Project Accountant to join our award winning team based within our Doha Office.

This critical role will be responsible for aiding the organization with project specific financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, cost control, and project controls. The position also provides projects with advanced research, data analysis, reporting and interpretation of performance metrics as well as supporting executive management in reviewing and monitoring annual business plans and providing support to project teams on their commercial and financial management.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;

- Evaluating and analyzing a variety of financial results and indicators such as capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc. requiring advanced expertise.
- Compiling budgetary and fiscal data received from assigned departments to prepare revenue statements.
- Balancing statements and historical comparisons of departmental expenditures with requested appropriations.
- Completing complex analysis of records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses.
- Conducting special studies as assigned to support senior management and developing presentations of findings and results.
- Pro-actively advising management on matters, such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
- Preparing reports analyzing specific aspects of department structures, functions and operational procedures and recommend ways to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 8 years post-graduate career experience with a business related Bachelor degree.
- Advanced project analytical skills and experience in an architectural, engineering or construction environment is essential.
