Role purpose

We are seeking a senior project engineer to oversee engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities on a major LNG expansion project. This role requires strong coordination skills across multiple EPC packages, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, timely execution, and delivery of project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities across multiple project scopes.
• Act as a focal point for cross-team integration, ensuring alignment between project functions, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, KPIs, and critical issues, providing solutions and contingency plans where required.
• Support reporting, presentations, and stakeholder engagement in line with project requirements.
• Manage change and risk processes, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
• Oversee completion of deliverables in line with project management systems and readiness plans.
• Provide support during all project phases, ensuring a flawless start-up and reliable operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in project engineering roles covering project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning within the oil & gas industry.
• Proven experience managing large, complex projects involving multiple EPC contracts and multicultural teams.
• Prior Middle East/Qatar experience is an advantage but not essential.
