We are now seeking an exceptional Senior Project Engineer - Transportation to join our award winning team based within our Qatar Office.

This critical role will be responsible for the production, verification and assessment of technical designs, plans and associated documentation during the different stages of Infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant engineering and QMS standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include

- Develops designs, drawings, reports and associated technical inputs.
- Provides solutions to complex design problems using both manual and computer methods.
- Assists the Project Manager in obtaining Authority Approvals.
- Supports and mentors Graduate and Project Engineers.
- Applies initiative and experience to creatively solve non-standard design problems.
- Ensures Quality Control and Standards are in place and maintained throughout all personal work output including calculations, designs, drawings, plans, estimates and reports.
- Undertakes checks and reviews to ensure others work is comprehensive and accurate and applies sound engineering principals and standards.
- Maintains and Promote KEO Values personally, within Team and wider KEO Business.
- Ensures Professional Standards, Ethics and Health and Safety are promoted, maintained and followed personally, within the Team and wider KEO Business.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 8 years' career experience partnered with a Bachelor of Engineering or Transportation.
- The ideal candidate will possess Qatar experience as well as over 36+ months hands on experience using VISUM and VISSIM (strategic and microsimulation models).
- Experience using other Modelling Software Packages including: Cube, TransCAD, SYNCHRO, Sidra and/or HCS is required as well as the ability to use Microsoft office including Powerpoint and Project.
- Experience of transport planning, traffic survey data collection and analysis and the preparation of traffic survey data reports is required.
- Professional Membership of the Institute of Chartered Engineers (ICE), will be viewed favourably.
