Our Client was founded in the sixties and has been growing into one of the most highly respected architectural and engineering consulting firms in Qatar.
Their expertise in planning, creating, producing and executing unique design and construction projects has resulted in the completion of hundreds of diverse projects for a broad range of clients internationally.
As a result of this continuos expansion we are seeking a talented and highly experienced Proposals Engineer to join their team.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsibility to draft, design and produce competitive Bid Proposals and presentations for building Engineering Consultancy services.
• Liaise with Design team to effectively produce accurate information
• Appraisal of process designs solutions.
• Advise the Sales Manager of any additional resources that may be necessary to complete the Tender.
• Document any areas of potential risk identified in the tender.
• Attend site visits if required.
• Attend meetings to discuss and explain tenders/design.
• Prepare of tender submission (including technical and commercial aspects).
• Attend post-tender meetings with client if required.
• Have a good understanding of a project life cycle, starting from RFQ, to signing the contract, until project execution.
• Prepare the hand-over documentation after award of contract.
Requirements
• Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 10-15yrs of experience (min 5yrs in GCC) of working with Architectural & Engineering Consultancy firms
• Should have experience in handling Pre & Post contracts for high value projects related to High rise buildings, Towers, Residential, Commercial, Retail and mixed used projects.
• Possess a commanding knowledge of the industry,
• Experience in technical evaluations of RFP
• Exceptional writing skills combined with the ability to multi-task on multiple pursuits related to Proposals, Costing, and Contracts
