Senior Quality Auditor - Qatar

Our client, a government public works authority, seeks to recruit a Senior Quality Auditor within the firm’s Corporate Planning Division for the country of Qatar. With budgets of more than $70B, this role acts as the client’s representative and, as an expert in Quality Management Systems and Business Process Management and is responsible to establish the Quality Management System that supports the firm’s strategy and commitment to Process and Service Excellence within Qatar.

Reporting to Manager of Quality and Planning and working as part of the Corporate Planning team, your responsibilities in the role will include:
• Coordinating with all departments, external consultants and business owners to develop and implement all components of the firm’s Quality Management System.
• Manage and monitor Quality Management System regularly, ensuring that the QMS is working effectively.
• Preparation of audit plans, audit checklists, audit schedule and audit notifications.
• Conducting quality audits to highlight weaknesses and encourage improvements in QMS across the company.
• Coordinate and schedule periodic Quality Management Review Meetings to discuss all Quality Matters, outcomes of internal audits, customer feedback and continual improvement processes.
• Develop and maintain quality policies, processes and procedures in compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards.
• Coordinate external auditing and liaise with certification bodies to ensure certification and compliance with ISO9001 standards.
• Lead process improvement initiatives across the firm in conjunction with external consultants.
• Facilitate and provide process improvement advice to business units via targeted workshops.
• Identify and resolve issues that impact business outcomes and that require urgent resolution.
• Promote and develop a continuous improvement and quality culture across the business,
• Coach and support staff in the use of quality tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business Administration or comparable. A Master’s degree would be highly desirable.
• 10 years of relevant experience in Quality Management.
• Certified Lead Quality Auditor ISO9001:2015 is essential.
• Candidates that are Certified EFQM Assessors and/or 6Sigma Black Belt and/or PMP Certified would be highly regarded.
• Experience of working in Qatar or the Gulf region is desirable.
• The communicator we seek must be a team player, have excellent negotiation skills and report writing skills.
• Coaching and training skills are essential.
