Senior Quantity Surveyor (Cost) - Qatar - Arabic Speaker
A reputable consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Cost) to work on large scale infrastructure projects in Doha, Qatar. The role will involve being responsible for estimating, budgeting, cost control, cash-flow and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors
• Manage the monthly internal reporting
• Conduct cost and value forecasting
• Maintain good relationship with Clients and representatives
• Resolve any commercial issues with the Client
• Preparation and maintenance of estimates, budgets, cost report and cash flows
• Budget allocation and tracking alongside the review and comment on bids and contract award recommendation reports
Requirements
• Must hold a BSc in Quantity Surveying
• MRICS or equivalent
• Fluent in English & Arabic (written and spoken)
• 10 years post graduate experience
• Previous experience in the Middle East would be an advantage
• Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities
• Extensive exposure to the process of conceptual estimating, cost planning, financial accounting, expenditure profiling, cost reporting and cost forecasting
