Job description / Role
Description :
• Support client Section Heads and Engineers in administering a Roads O&M Performance-Based contract including setting the program of works, work inspection regime, managing technical and contractual discussions, review and approve monthly invoices
• Develop and oversee the implementation of lighting plans and specifications for roadways, streets, and highways.
• Ensure that lighting systems are designed, installed, and maintained in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices related to lighting systems for roads and highways, and use this knowledge to inform project design and implementation.
Requirements
• BSC Engineering
• Min 15 Years Experience
• Western Qualifications and Experience
• Technical expertise: Deep understanding of lighting systems, including design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Project management: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Communication: Effective communication skills are essential for liaising with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Problem-solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during projects. They should be able to think creatively to find solutions that are both effective and efficient.
• Attention to detail: Detail-oriented to ensure that projects are completed accurately and to the required quality standards.]
• Excellent communication skills (fluency in Arabic preferred).
