Senior Sales Engineer

Charterhouse is working with a multinational market-leading organisation, within the Electro-Mechanical sector, whom are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join their Doha regional office. Supplying engineering equipment and solutions, the client coverage links to resolving the needs of the construction sector through offering comprehensive electrical mechanical products, integrated systems and water supply solutions within the property development, contracting and architectural space.

This Senior Sales position will aim to promote and sell the organisation’s electrical products into key projects across Qatar, which include wiring devices, cable systems, trays, and circuit breakers. Furthermore, the role will require contact with potential new customers to managing any product or service issues along with site visits for pricing and job overview.

In conjunction, you will work closely with the sales team, for operational, to ensure product knowledge is also understood at a technical and implementation level. The role will also require customer visits; to evaluate specific requirements, business constraints, and any propose necessary for corrective action plans. You will also be required to manage the organisation’s electrical stocks to ensure they are maintained at optimal levels according to sales volumes through stock-keeping units and any inventory management.


The successful candidate should hold an Electrical Engineering Degree with an experience level of 5 to 10 year’s within the electrical products field. Due to the nature of this role, as a sales person, you must be able to work well within a team to lead from the front in delivering results across the customer base and any live or pipeline projects.

The selected candidate must have excellent written and strong communication skills which are essential to ensure strong client traction and information flow across product specifics and advisory. Within the search, the client will also look for applicants whom are familiar with the working operations of AutoCAD and Microsoft tools.
