Job description / Role
• This senior support and client-facing role encompass both the delivery of Soft Services operational objectives, operational financial management, strategic development, and the daily operational management of the Soft Service Department.
• As Senior Soft Services Manager, you are to support the General Manager to drive the mobilization and development of the Project and business and deliver customer service excellence, whilst working in close conjunction with the Support Managers.
• Work closely with the clients, Directors, and Operations Managers ensuring development opportunities are commercially, technically, and operationally viable.
• Ensure all services in support of operations and agreed objectives are consistently delivered on time and in accordance with the contract requirements via your support management team.
• Develop and maintain close business relationships with clients’ representatives and management teams to align delivery requirements/standards with client expectations.
• Work with the senior team on the development of innovation and best practice standards to implement and deliver consistently across all operational aspects of service.
• Work in close partnership with the Training & Development team to ensure the management of the development and competency of staff within the contract including training and implementation of customer service excellence initiatives.
• Implementation and management of continuous review processes.
• Lead, deliver, and display all aspects of the cultural and behaviors program at all times to set the high standards expected from all staff within your team.
• Manage and ensure compliance with all aspects of Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements and the law.
• Extensive understanding of delivering Soft Facilities Management
• High-level experience of operating FM within either the Commercial / Hotel / Health Care sectors
• Proven track record of managing, influencing, and operating at a senior level within a contract environment
• Proven track record and ability to effectively manage and deliver against business targets
• Financially astute with strong commercial focus applied within a large organization
• Ability to design and develop service delivery in line with strategic business objectives
• Experience in managing large teams with a geographical spread and varied functionality
