We are now seeking an exceptional Senior Structural Engineer – Design Review to join our award winning team based within our Qatar Office.

Requirements

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;
• Review, implement and maintain a clear understanding of PM-CM and DRS procedures and policies as outlined in the Design Review Manual and other division published materials and ensure work is carried accordingly.
• Perform invasive design reviews that will achieve the department's vision and goals as well as the client and project goals at the same time.
• Perform design reviews on varied projects throughout various countries internationally.
• Attend design review workshops and meetings in person; participate in VC, audio and/or phone conference calls and other similar meetings with clients, consultants, local authorities and other design review team members.
• Perform design review services for all projects for the following but not limited to; high end residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, shopping centers, hotel, hospitals, universities, both high-rise and low-rise developments etc.
• Provide specific and comprehensive commentary within each assigned Design Review Report.
• Prepare written documentation such as; letters, minutes, meeting notes, commentary for design review report, schedules, emails and others as required. Ensure all written content are in a diplomatic manner and are based only upon pure facts that have been proven and demonstrated in the industry.
• Review all design documentation deliverables including but not limited to; drawings and specifications at all design phases and determine the following; compliance with the project design brief, project goals and objectives, building code compliance, design optimization, set quality of design is achieved, design efficiency, determine risks and opportunities, determine cost saving solutions, functionality, effective space planning appropriate material selection, quality of coordination of documentation with other disciplines, conduct QAQC and ensure the client receives added value from the design review services.

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years' career experience with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
