Role Description:
• Take overall responsibility of the electrical input undertaken as part of General Engineering Consultancy Services for Contract 2, Area 3. To work within and to mentor members of the
• wider supervision organisation.
• Provide professional representation on the project to ensure quality construction, meets the design intent with cost effectiveness, on schedule and with minimal impact to the environment and the community.
• Implement the design of the Utility corridors, plans and intersections for all the utilities.

Responsibilities:
• Delivery of electrical engineering service ranging from desk study to detailed design
• Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design
• Providing both leadership and technical advice to project team members
• Reviewing and ensuring compliance in the components of the project for which responsible, including drawings, reports, specifications and studies
• Liaising with the Project Manager / SRE and the client to keep informed of all developments associated with the project
• Review and respond to RFI’s, related to electrical utilities throughout the construction stage of projects
• Management of Stakeholder interfaces and approvals from planning and utility agencies
• Attendance of client’s meetings on behalf of the Company for issues related to utilities design, approvals and construction
• Participate in design and construction workshops addressing value engineering, deviations and contractor variation issues

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Must have atleast a minimum of 10 years post graduate experience.
• Minimum of 7 years related experience of the Local Roads and Drainage projects.
• Preferably with GCC experience.
