Job description / Role
The role will contribute to the software maintenance: integration, verification and validation of new patches before their delivery in the field. The role is in charge to support the field software engineer in charge of the customer support. The role reports directly to the Software Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carries out the C4ISR (based on the following sub-systems: IT FRWK, SURV, C4I, COMM, Trainex) software maintenance
- Provide a support for the customer support and user helpdesk teams.
- Participate to the integration of the new software patches delivered by sub-systems into the ISS platform.
- Participate to the test plan preparation, carries out the formal tests related to the verification and the validation campaigns of the new software, and deliver the verification tests report.
- Prepare and deploy the maintenance releases / patches in the field.
- Cooperate closely with the customer support, the subsystems and the suppliers to manage the software maintenance support activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Engineering/computer software
- Master in Engineering preferred
- Practical experience;
- Lan/Wan network
- oracle, PostgreSQL database
- Windows 7/Sever 2008 R2,RHEL
- Java
- System integration and testing
- French and Arabic speakers preferred
