Job description / Role
The Specialist AML/CTF Model will ensure that there is adequate AML/CTF system and control in place to manage the Money Laundering and terrorist financing risk, to prevent the bank from being exposed to the risk of legal / regulatory sanction and financial / reputation loss.

The Specialist AML/CTF Model will have the following responsibilities:
* Manage the AML/CFT efforts of the bank by monitoring customer daily transactions to avoid any suspicious transactions that could lead to fines/penal actions.
* Establish and enhance the AML/CTF framework to meet the regulatory standard.
* Adopt and implement AML/CTF recommendations to meet Global Standards.
* Initiate new AML/CTF compliance strategy and regulatory reporting in establishing the Regulatory Reporting Annual Plan.
* Perform gap analysis of systems and controls with leading practices and regulatory requirements, and recommend areas of improvement at strategic level.

Requirements
* Professional Qualification such as CCO / CIA / CPA
* 10 years in a major banking institution of regulatory agency
* Experience within Financial Services with AML specific experience
* Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework
* In depth knowledge of banking policies and procedures, regulatory and best practice pronouncements pertaining to AML/CFT activities are concerned.
