Specialist Company Doctor - Qatar Airways - Doha

The position will be accountable for providing medical care to Qatar Airways employees and respond efficiently to any special issues within the operation. Ensures that medical operation remains regulatory compliant with applicable National and International Medical Regulatory bodies and offers best in class healthcare services.

You will be responsible for liaising with Company doctors and coordinates the short and medium term activities. Aids in updating and implementing protocols and deputises in the absence of the section head. You will coordinate, supervise, control and monitor all policies and standard operating procedures within the medical operation and ensures that these are in place, continuously updated and properly followed, according to the need of the company and the requirements of health authorities.

You will assess, plan, monitor and evaluate the medical services activities of Company Doctors to ensure they provide the highest standard of medical services. Supervise Company Doctors and ensures they provide appropriate medical responses and recommendations according to established policies.

You will take responsibility for overseeing and supervising Company Doctors, ensuring best healthcare services are provided at all times. Liaise with local health authority and QCAA (Qatar Civil Aviation Authority) when required, on any health/medical related matter.

Requirements

To be successful for that role you must have Bachelors Degree or equivalent, in addition to MBBS from an internationally recognised University. Specialist post graduate qualification recognised by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Professionals is a must. An Intermediate Life Support Certification (Mandatory by MOH) is a must. Registration with Qatar MOH as a specialist (inc family medicine). A valid license to practice in Qatar is an advantage.

You have a Minimum 7 years of post MBBS clinical experience or its equivalent. Proven experience of demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business.
