WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A STRATEGIC & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ANALYST TO JOIN THALES QATAR TEAM IN DOHA, QATAR.

The Strategic & Business Development Analyst will assist the Country Director and the Key Account Managers in the reporting, follow-up of business opportunities and designing the yearly Country Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and monitor the following projects: Thales Qatar University Cybersecurity Chair / Thales Innovation Hub / Thales Digitalization Initiative / Thales Qatar education project / Start-ups partnerships. You will also be in charge of developing Thales' attractiveness towards local students.
• Become the local point of contact for communication in relation with the regional headquarters (inform the Middle East of ongoing activities, occasional content writing).
• Prepare internal brief notes on the occasion of main events and high-level visits to Qatar.
• Responsible for planning Thales Gulf corporate events, in coordination with the HR department.
• Assist and support the KIP & Offset director for KIP tasks as described hereafter. Assist and support regional VP for sales operation tasks related to SITCOM & GCRM.
• Collect, prepare and structure all needed inputs from CD and other stakeholders regarding GSRM & SITCOM
• Participate to the development and implementation of Thales partnership policy (MoU, Business plan, Joint Venture…)
• Gathers and analyses strategic Business intelligence information relating to markets, customers and competition, as well as their development
• Analyzing Qatar Thales markets (Defense, security, ground transportation, space & Aerospace) and Thales Commercial performance.
• Contribute from Country to Group Business Intelligence, Makes Group BI data base available to local users and producing specific market reports.

Requirements

• Engineering/Business/Academic/Political studies. Interest in security-related technologies, space, aerospace, transport and defense.
• 2+ years' experience in business analysis, business development, strategy, marketing, innovation or any other relevant field.
• International experience is a strong plus. Fluency in English required, French is a strong plus, Arabic is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills. Great team player, with a positive attitude and an ability to think out of the box
