Charterhouse is working with one of Qatar’s most diversified holding groups, owning a portfolio that extends internationally ranging from Real Estate to Automotive and Education. Our client holds a strong position in the market which has attracted overseas investment, which has significantly contributed to the infrastructure and economy of Qatar. As a result of their continued growth from investment sources, the organisation has created a newly established strategy department acting as a focal point for potential investors and current stakeholders. The Strategy and Investment arm will be focusing on local and international opportunities, which will support the sustained growth it’s 50 business units and beyond.

You will be continuously monitoring and analysing the external business environment, through industry analysis, macroeconomic trends and statistics to help identify new growth and improvement opportunities, both locally and internationally. You will provide business intelligences and market analysis to the executive management to support them with strategic decision making. Additionally, you will take the lead on annual budgets, strategic plans for development and design cross-functional improvement initiatives. You will follow up on the implementation of various initiatives contributing to the Project Management Officer activities, supporting the assessment of operations and financial performance.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, with a top-tier management consultancy firm, or in a leading strategy function role. You will hold a Master’s Degree from a top-tier university in Finance, Economics or another relevant subject. You will also be able to demonstrate your experience of financial modelling, transactions and market analysis, with a willingness to be open to relocating to Qatar on a full-time basis.
