Continued project growth within our client’s firm, a general contracting Qatari conglomerate, has created the opportunity to recruit a Structural Revit / BIM Modeler to their Qatar operations to generate structural Revit models and corresponding drawings including plans, sections, isometrics, schedules and details. This is for a major stadium project for FIFA 2022.

Reporting to the Structural Engineer and managing a drafting team, this role will be responsible for the following:

• Implement the project BIM execution and implementation plan utilizing Revit and BIM tools.
• Preparation of clash detection and identification of Clashes between various disciplines.
• Creation of shared parameters comprising project specific parameters, families, templates, graphics, title blocks, sheets, etc.
• Preparation of detailed shop drawings for Reinforced Cement Concrete industrial buildings and foundations with rebar reinforcement detailing.
• Prepare splices requirement of structures and make detailed bar bending schedules.
• Preparation of all kinds of Reinforced Cement Concrete drawings and detailed show drawings as directed by the Structural Engineer, and often in co-ordination with the Structural Engineer.
• Preparation of rebar general arrangements of foundation, pedestal, SOG, walls, columns, beams, slabs and stairs with detailed BAR Bending Schedules
• Preparation of cross sections in any location of Reinforced Cement Concrete building layout plans showing all reinforcement rebar\'s details, levels and finishes.
• Preparation of builders work drawings and Coordinates (X and Y) for foundation, slab edge, column, walls etc.

Requirements

Associate Degree or higher in architecture or comparable with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in structural drafting.
• Clash detection experience desirable.
• Expert proficiency in BIM Tools.
• Expert in Revit structural and can work up to LOD 400 & 500.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure Excellent communication skills with team members within office and external client communication
