We are working with our client based in Qatar to source a structural superintendent. This is a residential contract to be based in Qatar.

Job scope:

• Coordinate structural construction activities for pipeline and subsea structures up to load-out and sail-away.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with approved scope and schedule at the fabrication yard.
• Maintain compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
• Ensure planning and execution of all activities related to subsea structures and pipelines are achieved by contractors, subcontractors, and vendors per project specifications.
• Guide contractors to deliver scope up to load-out and sail-away within schedule.
• Maintain strong working relationships with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Provide technical and safety expertise related to subsea structures and pipelines.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment requiring accuracy, initiative, and multitasking.

Qualifications:

Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering.

Knowledge and/or experience:

• 8 yearsu2019 experience with large projects in construction-related disciplines as a Mechanical Supervisor or Mechanical Completion/Pre-commissioning Specialist/Senior Pre-commissioning Inspector for offshore oil and gas facilities, especially subsea structures and wellhead topside platforms.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• 3u20135 years international experience as structural superintendent on medium-to-large and complex offshore projects.
• Good understanding of completions database (ICAPS), pre-commissioning procedures, and handover deliverables.
• Experience with ICAPS database use and ITR/Punch management.

Technical and business skills:

• Full knowledge of structural steel fabrication of subsea structures and pipeline structures like WYE and Tee skids and load-out.
• High level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and other relevant applications.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with ability to work across disciplines.
