Job description / Role

Key responsibilities

u2022 Independently carry out detection and mapping of underground services without supervision in oil and gas operational areas as per instruction from surveyor.
u2022 Carry out survey work using GNSS, Total Station, and Digital Level without supervision in oil and gas operational areas as per instruction from surveyors.
u2022 Identify and extract underground and above ground services and facility data from multi-disciplinary engineering drawings.
u2022 Download and process field survey data and produce survey drawings in AutoCAD format.
u2022 Produce cartographic quality maps using ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
u2022 Maintain survey equipment in good condition.
u2022 Work long hours in onshore and offshore oil and gas operational fields in hot and cold weather conditions.
u2022 Drive company pool vehicles to transport surveyors and equipment to various work sites.

Requirements

Diploma in land surveying or related field.

• A minimum of six (6) yearsu2019 experience in land surveying of at least two (2) years should be in oil and gas industry.
• Good working knowledge of detecting and mapping underground utilities and services scanning using advanced survey equipment.
• Good working knowledge of GNSS, Digital Level, and Total Stations.
• Good working knowledge of ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
• Ability to work long hours in onshore and offshore oil and gas operational fields in hot and cold weather conditions.
