We are now seeking an exceptional Sustainability Manager to join our award winning team based within our Doha Office and various Doha sites.

This critical role will be responsible for delivering technical sustainability consultation, advice and design assistance to clients and KEO in-house divisions as required.

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;
• Understand the project specific sustainability requirements and how these are linked to construction processes and approvals.
• Maintain appropriate communication with the client's site discipline engineers on all sustainability related issues.
• Create sustainability construction supervision plans and systems for sustainability related standards compliance
• Review, assess and provided feedback on sustainability reports, credit templates, calculators, sustainability code compliance documents.
• Review the contract drawings and specifications, link them with project specific sustainability requirements and coordinate with other construction supervision disciplines for approvals.
• Prepare sustainability reports (written and photographic) on progress of sustainability related works and technical conformance of the works with the implemented sustainability standard.
• Supervise / Review and implement on site sustainability applicable standards in conjunction with established KEO Sustainability procedures and KEO project management policy and procedures manual.
• Identify issues and risks linked to sustainability compliance of the works that need to be brought to the attention of senior management.
• Understand, identify and assess project risks associated with Sustainability standards compliance
• Supervise / Inspect the site works in progress throughout the day and continually monitor the works on sustainability progress and compliance.
• Coordinate, update and check Sustainability related Logs for compliance against site applicable standards.
• Communicate and work in partnership with the Sustainability Unit on lessons learned and good practice processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 5 years' sustainability or environmental management career experience partnered with Bachelor or Master level in Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering or relevant discipline.

Applicants whom possess valid green building certification accreditation, ie. GSAS CGP, Estidama or LEED will be provided preferential consideration.
