Job description / Role
As the SWIFT Administrator you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining SWIFT applications, developing SWIFT projects, training SWIFT users and providing software support to various internal/external stakeholders

Description
* Monitor all SWIFT applications and perform daily backup operations
* Supervise and manage the SWIFT help desk for the organisation
* Implement updated versions of SWIFT software
* Communicate with external support vendors and SWIFT Network resources to address any SWIFT related issues
* Manage and maintain SWIFT hardware servers and AML/compliance systems
* Initiate SWIFT bilateral-keys exchange (RMA) with organisational correspondents
* Train users/staff on SWIFT applications and services
* Manage and monitor SQL databases working in parallel with SWIFT System applications
* Participate in SWIFT related project management and act as key subject matter expert
* Perform backup of SWIFT-Alliance data
* Provide support for other project initiatives which involve SWIFT implementation
* Perform other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements
* Must have Banking/Financial services experience
* A degree in an IT disciple or business or its equivalent
* At least 3 years of experience in a SWIFT network support/admin role in a reputed financial services organisation
* Must be SWIFT Certified (Specialist Certification)
* Strong trouble shooting and problem solving abilities
* Must have excellent English language soft skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities
