Tailor

Job description / Role

• Receive alteration order from the Sales Associate and use expertise to decide on appropriate modifications to be made
• Adjust garments according to specifications while applying design and styling principles. This may include: correcting pattern, cutting out parts, sewing parts together by hand or machine, making button holes and other
• Fit and study garments on customers by measuring and marking necessary parts to determine and discuss required alterations (applicable when tailor is on site)
• Record all changes in the alteration log book at the end of the process and submit it back to the Sales Associate for tracking and reference purposes

Requirements

• High School Degree
• 2 years of experience in tailoring
