Job description / Role

Key Accountabilities

Receive alteration order from the Sales Associate and use expertise to decide on appropriate modifications to be made

Adjust garments according to specifications while applying design and styling principles. This may include: correcting pattern, cutting out parts, sewing parts together by hand or machine, making button holes and other

Fit and study garments on customers by measuring and marking necessary parts to determine and discuss required alterations (applicable when tailor is on site)

Record all changes in the alteration log book at the end of the process and submit it back to the Sales Associate for tracking and reference purposes

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge
High School Degree

2 years of experience in tailoring
