Rixos Doha Qetaifan Island North

Opening mid 2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sq m of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.

Talent & Culture Executive/Hotel Nurse

This position is responsible for providing administrative support to colleagues in the Talent & Culture function to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Talent & Culture initiatives and projects. Assess colleagues visiting the Hotel and Accommodation Clinic and give primary nursing care or arrange Doctor's consults if needed.

What you will be doing:

- Process day-to-day Talent & Culture administration in an accurate and timely manner
- Create and update employee data records in the system
- Create personal files and assist with general filing
- Manage the application of work passes under Ministry of Manpower
- Prepare various letters and communication to employees
- Prepare monthly employee newsletter
- Organize and execute employees' social, athletic and recreational activities
- Prepare and submit periodic Talent & Culture & Training reports
- Update and track annual and probation period appraisals of all employees
- Assist colleagues will all HR related queries and questions
- Maintain good working relations with all departments and all professional external contacts
- Support the Recruitment team in the recruitment process.
- Manage resignation and clearance procedures
- Provide First Aid when the need arises in the Hotel and Accommodation
- Arrange medical referrals and ambulance transport for emergency cases
- Maintain the records of daily and weekly statistics of colleagues' clinic visits
- Implement and maintain all administration regarding health care, sick leave documentation and medical filing for all colleagues
- Control the accuracy of sick leave authorization forms
- Coordinate sick leave reporting with other departments and update sick colleagues conditions to managers while maintaining the confidentiality
- Ensure that all Qatar Municipality and Health Authority requirements are strictly followed
- Ensure Health Card records for all required colleagues are kept up to date
- Assist colleagues when work-related injuries arise from seeking medical care until workmen's compensation claim
- Provide primary health service to all employees and, if required, guests in the Hotel

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources/Nursing
- 2 years of related experience in the hospitality sector is preferred
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, Health & Safety aspect
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
