Tax Officer - US Tax Compliance

Job description / Role

An exciting, senior Tax position working within a large Financial Services institution based in Doha, Qatar.

Client Details

A large, international Financial Services institution.

Description

* Familiar with the tax regulations of the USA, including but not limited to value added tax, corporate income tax, withholding tax, etc.
* Familiar with tax compliance requirements and procedures of US companies.
* Review the monthly/quarterly/annual local tax returns prepared by external advisors, and coordinate with internal/external advisors to duly submit the tax returns and complete tax payments.
* Assist and advise on tax queries raised by finance, business and legal functions of the company.
* Research on and monitor the latest developments of US tax regulations.

Requirements

* The ideal candidate will have a strong background within US Tax compliance and will preferably have experience within Big 4.
