Summary

Park Hyatt Doha is a five-star luxury hotel set in Msheireb Downtown Doha, celebrated for its sophisticated rooms, comprehensive spa, and stunning skyline views from the signature Sora Rooftop Restaurant. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Team Leader - Stewarding to join our hospitality team!

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the stewarding department, ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of all kitchen equipment, dishware, and food preparation areas. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in stewarding, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably within a high-volume hotel, restaurant, or catering operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certificate in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial dishwashing equipment and industrial cleaning chemicals, as well as proper handling and safety procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge of local health and safety/HACCP standards and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot, fast-paced environment.

About the Company

Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company. Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation were taken private by the Pritzker family business interests in 1979 and 1982, respectively.
