Technical Auditor

Job description / Role

Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are seeking a Technical Auditor to join their team in Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning and scoping audits to ensure the effective coverage of risk areas and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Developing and executing audit programmes ensuring the thorough testing and evaluation of controls
• Identifying and assessing risks, developing audit procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
• Conducting audit fieldwork, gathering evidence and documenting findings
• Performing audit testing, evaluating the design & operating effectiveness of controls
• Preparing and presenting audit reports, ensuring clear and concise communication of findings and recommendations
• Staying up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and audit methodologies

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, or similar field
• 6-7 years’ experience in auditing, within a large international or multicultural organisation, ideally in the transportation/infrastructure sector
• Holding certifications in one or more of the following: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Risk Management Certification
• Ideally have a background of working in the Middle East
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
