Technical Authority (Process Engineering)

Job description / Role

We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client a TECHNICAL AUTHORITY (PROCESS ENGINEERING) who will be working in their FACILITIES, ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT based in Qatar on a long term residential and will be responsible
for managing Process Engineering activities and a team of Process Engineers

The major activities includes supporting day to day operation of the plant, manage the concept /FEED/EPC design work for asset development Projects carried out by Contractors and those that are managed in-house.

Provide all asset related input to major Project team.

Key accountabilities include directing/coordinating with the Process Engineering team and interfacing with other disciplines to ensure Technical integrity is maintained at a high standard aligned with OI requirements.

Requirements

- 15 years O&G industry experience
- 5 years in FE&C projects preferred
- Well versed in Simulation, equipment sizing, PFD/PEFS, steady and transient flow analysis, Control narratives and C&E, etc
- Recognized expertise and leadership in Process Engineering
- Experience in operational troubleshooting, process risk management and providing necessary support to construction & commissioning methods
- Leadership and interpersonal skills to lead Process Engineering Team
- Working knowledge of company business processes and regulatory requirements
- Experience of managing and measuring work through the use of appropriate metrics and key performance indicators
- Bachelors’ degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology
