Technology Services Controller (IT Security) - Hamad International Airport - Doha

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the IT Security team at Hamad International Airport, the Best Airport in the Middle East. In this role you will be responsible for handling security incidents, conducting investigations & provide forensic support for IT incidents of malicious activities including data loss, system compromise or misuse of internal information technology systems. The specialist will also be responsible for the identification, collection and preservation of digital evidence. Additionally, the specialist will assist in investigations involving suspected violations of Corporate IT Security Policy. This position requires the ability to perform security incident handling and digital forensic examinations with an emphasis on preservation and electronic review as well as host-based forensic examinations. Successful candidates will be able to perform forensic preservation work and conduct preliminary investigations and within established standards.

The requirements of this position include:
- Perform Security Incident Handling support such as forensics collections, intrusion correlation tracking, threat analysis and direct system remediation tasks
- The knowledge, skills, and ability to investigate, preserve digital evidence in a forensically sound manner
- The ability to perform host-based digital forensics on Network Hardware, Microsoft Windows and Unix based systems
- Leverage commercially available (e.g. Encase, etc.,) and open source forensic tools to efficiently perform forensic analysis
- Knowledge of and a proven ability to follow globally established standards in IT Security incident handling, digital evidence acquisition and handling
- Analyze malicious code by using static and dynamic reverse engineering techniques and employing industry tools such as Ida Pro, OllyDbg, REMnux, etc.
- Ability to recognize common packing and encryption techniques. Ability to manually unpack and deobfuscate malicious binaries.
- Ability to review and define Security incident handling procedures for IT systems.
- Planning and executing evidence preservation, and presenting clear and concise findings & report.
- Conduct collection of electronic evidence through various tools in support of Legal and high tech investigation.
- Conduct preservation of electronic evidence from mobile devices

You should have the ability to work independently or with a team during forensic investigations. GCIH & GCFA Certification is highly preferred.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you must hold at least a Degree in Computer / Engineering or equivalent. You must have at least 8 -10 years of IT Security and Risk management experience. You must have an in depth knowledge of Penetration Testing of Applications and Infrastructure both Manual and automated Security Testing. You should have expertise in the areas of vulnerability assessment and IT security management.

You should have expertise in managing and leading the IT security initiative and projects. You must have a good understanding of information security and risk management frameworks such as ISO27001/27002, PCI- DSS, and other regulatory requirements for the aviation services sector. You must be technically proficient with the ability to create, assimilate, and convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.

You should have expertise in evaluating and identifying relevant IT security technologies. You should have the ability to work independently or with a team during forensic investigations. Certification on GCIH & GCFA is essential. Other certifications like CEH, CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO LA 27001 or PCI-QSA is highly preferred.
