Doha metro - Teleom Installation Manager - Gold/Blue lines

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR “ICS Installation MANAGER”TO JOIN THE THALES ICS TEAM IN DOHA, QATAR.

The “ICS Installation MANAGER” will manage all Integrated Communication Systems, SCADA & Fair collection Installation for Doha Metro project.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Installation and T&C Director in developing project installations schedule, plans and procedures in relation to installations, method statements. HSE procedures to ensure the safety of personnel during pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Monitor the installation subcontractors. Interface to design and interface teams to solve site construction issues.
• Develop and run PICO tests (Post Installation Checkout). Ensure approval from client and consultant.
• Review and oversee the construction supervision consultants to ensure required testing forms are updated as required and filled properly.
• Work closely with the Construction Supervision Consultant, Contractors, vendors and suppliers in resolution of technical problems and to ensure that identified deficiencies are repaired and update as to actual site conditions.
• Manages routine installations, testing meetings and monitors subordinate workloads to maximize performance.
• Monitors and reports on the progress of all project activity including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule. Establish weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
• Implement company's business management system including QA and HSE systems

Requirements

• 10 - 12 years in Installation activities with a large Metro project
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to identify potential problems and propose solutions.
• Ability to work well within and lead installation supervision teams and installation subcontractors.
• Experience in Microsoft applications
• BSc/BEng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Chartered engineer from recognized professional body.
