Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Adapt the development of methods to assess training needs, including surveys, questionnaires, interviews and feedback from performance reviews.
- Communicate with all levels of organization management regarding individual, unit, or organizational problems and assists in identifying training-related solutions when appropriate, identifying specific outcomes of training particularly in the areas of supervision and management.
- Manages and administers training course bookings and approvals for specific Affairs and Departments within Ashghal in accordance with T&D policy.
- Meet regularly with the head of section/ department to determine direction and priorities as they relate to current and future training.
- Ensures that all training planned for their area of responsibility take place within the appropriate timeframes
- Analyze and interpret data, policies, reports, and training programs and will make decisions and recommendations on where training should be targeted and possible solutions to training needs.
- Accurately identifies the purpose for requested training as a basis for customized training program development or application of existing training programs.
- Produces Training Reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis that detail the amount and type of training conducted for the specific Affairs and Department.
- Accurately determines the most effective training strategies, methods, materials and settings to correspond with the type of training needed and / or the environment in which the training will be applied
- Collaborate with external bodies to ensure existing practices match current technological advances; share cost effective resources and ideas and investigate further opportunities for improvement with Ashghal partners, educational establishments, e-learning software suppliers; web based training resources; awarding bodies; webcast providers
- Develops, administers and maintains the Catalogue of Approved Training Courses database.
- Develop and review training materials, including hand-outs, PowerPoint presentations and performs other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by relevant authorities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree preferably in the field with (9) nine years of relevant experience.
- Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels, motivate others and change people's attitudes when necessary.
- Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly;
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Initiative and the ability to offer new ideas.
- Organizational and planning skills to manage your time and to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Good time-keeping skills to enable you to effectively manage training schedules.
- Personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills.
