Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Position Summary
Handles all travel related queries and issues. Meets with end users to advise on best options for travel, often working to devise complex itineraries and assisting with bulk travel arrangements.

Job Responsibilities
• Oversees booking and ticketing for all modes of travel, handling international ticketing, visa/insurance, and hotel booking. Executes airline tickets in accordance with WCM-Q policies and procedures. Enters airline reservation into the travel system.
• Meets with travelers to discuss complex travel itineraries, searches GDS system and suggests best travel options.
• Works closely with end users to assist in bulk travel arrangements and bookings.
• Is the first point of escalation for any travel related issues or queries.
• Oversees the development of KPI’s for travel management. Analyzes travel trends and reports to management. Uses GDS reporting tool to provide travel spend analysis reports.
• Provides training to end users on automated travel system, travel procedures and expense process, including use of travel system.
• Follows up and collects payments from end users authorizing travel voucher issuance.
• Manages credit notes for unused tickets or any financials related to travel payments.
• Conducts studies of work processes and procedures related to travel to recommend process improvement and amendments for policies and procedures.
• Ensures that all travel complies with WCM-Q policies and procedures and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations. Identifies any issues and reports to senior management as appropriate.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education
• Bachelor's Degree

Experience
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in travel agency.
• Strong working knowledge of GDS system such as Amadeus, Galileo or Saber, and certification in the same.
• Prior experience working in a cross cultural environment.
• Previously demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products including: word processing, presentation software and spreadsheets.
• Prior experience working with SAP is a plus.
• Ability to read, write and speak Arabic desirable.

• Previously demonstrated ability to work independently and safeguard confidential information.

Licenses and Certifications
• Certification from a GDS provider (Amadeus, Galileo, Saber).
• IATA training certificates
