Treasurer

Job description / Role

- Charterhouse is proudly partnered with a foreign bank in Doha who are looking to appoint a new Treasurer to head up their country branch. The bank is well-positioned within Doha and have an onshore license and have ambitious growth plans moving forwards.
- The Country Treasurer will take ownership of the Treasury function for the branch and oversee the ALM and Balance Sheet Management, Treasury Dealing and Operational functions within the Treasury Function.
- Having an onshore license, the bank works very closely with the QCB and this role will work in close tandem to the regulator on a weekly basis.
- The role will also work very closely with the risk function of the branch, ensuring the treasury function follow risk parameters across various aspects of the balance sheet.

- To be considered for this position, the successful candidate must have at least 10+ years’ experience within a banking treasury function.
- The ideal candidate will have exposure to ALM & BSM, Treasury Dealing and Sales and Operations within Qatar.
- Additionally, having a strong relationship with QCB and other counter-parties in the Qatar Banking space will be beneficial to this role.
