Job description / Role
Guildhall is working with an international engineering organization which is looking to secure an Electrical Engineer with Grade A UPDA Certification for a new project in Doha, Qatar.
This full-service organisation is one of the worlds largest engineering organisations with a global presence across 57 offices. This long-term project is based in the heart of Doha and valued at over 1bn QAR
Responsibilities include:
- Be responsible for the self-delivered execution of planned preventative & reactive maintenance to fully meet contract Service Level Agreements.
- Be responsible for and provide line management to three senior technicians who provide the lead on the mechanical, electrical and building fabric PPMs and reactive works.
- Provide technical support for engineers and sub-contractors as required.
- Assist in the planning, management and execution of small works on site.
- Liaise with stakeholders so that all work is carried out efficiently with least disruption to the end user, ensuring any complaints are dealt with efficiently and quickly.
Requirements
Candidates must have the following experience and qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years experience
- UPDA Grade A certified (or a few weeks away from certification)
- Kahramaa certified
